07 February 2009 - It took us almost a year, but page 25 is finally out! /sigh 2008...the year Jungle Fire stood still.
You may notice a change in the fere. They don't wear much clothing anymore. This is a conceptual change we made to them two years ago. If you are curious as to the evolution of this, we talked about it on our boards. If you want to skip the conversation, you can read the final concept introduction here.
04 January 2009 - Do not be alarmed if you notice that some parts of this site are now under "junglefire.com"...we're slowly transitioning to the new, less hyphen-y, domain. (The old jungle-fire.com will continue to work.)
21 April 2008 - A new drawing in the gallery. This one is the new "golden standard" for how Foxeye looks.
28 February 2008 - Another four months, another page. Was a hard one to draw, but I'm glad we made quality a priority....we're both really happy with this one.
17 December 2007 - Great Googly Moogly! Someone reviewed Jungle Fire...and it is a pretty darned spiffy review too.

30 October 2007 - OMFG A NEW PAGE! (Yeah, we're playing around with Vii's scales still. We'll be at that for a while I'm sure. Hopefully we'll pick a favorite before the end of the chapter.)

16 July 2007 - Jungle Fire continues to crawl at a drunken-ninja-crab's pace, this time because of Kael's day-job commitments for the launch of the new Crackle.com. You can read his forum post for more details. (And visit Crackle...it's actually pretty cool.)
25 June 2007 - After a Very Long Time, there is a new page...and we are proud to announce that it does not advance the plot in any way.
11 June 2007 - Ahhh, frackit! Forget what the previous post said. Schedule-shmedule, we're working on it, honest.
In the meantime, new sketch of Foxeye in the forums.
30 May 2007 - We should have the next page up on Friday, or the weekend if not then. There's been...lots going on IRL, and Jerelyn knew if she pulled the long hours for the page she'd probably need to be put on meds.
We have no idea if this is a short-term or long-term adjustment. Jerelyn has been promoted to supervisor of her dept, so for all we know it'll completely change her personal rhythms. Or it may just be a blip. One way or another, the story will keep on crawilng along.
09 May 2007 - New piece of fanart in the gallery!
1 May 2007 - The first page of the prologue is slightly different now. The original version, from waaaay back when, had been bugging us for a while. As it often is the first page a new reader sees, we decided to re-do it now, even before tackling the rest of the prologue. Which we will do at some point in the future.
2 April 2007 - Sorry about the long delay in getting page 19 out. The next few pages stand a good chance of coming out a bit faster than this one did.

15 March 2007 - We are tentatively trying out Google ads on our site, just below the comic pages. Unfortunately we cannot filter ads by content, so we're a bit wary of it. If you see any ads that are inappropriate, please email us.

23 February 2007 - We tried to keep the "twice a month" schedule, with the nice round dates, we really did. But RL has a way of getting in your face, and missed deadlines are such a yucky thing (despite what Terry Pratchett has to say about them), so we've chosen to go back to "updates when it updates".
We're guessing it'll still be roughly 2 weeks between pages, but it'll depend on how complex a given page is, what life is like at the time, etc.
18 February 2007 - New wallpaper made from page 17.
21 January 2007 - New picture in the gallery of a scene that took place between the Prologue and chapter 1.
12 January 2007 - So we had removed the voting banner because Jerelyn had enough on her plate without coming up with incentives to keep voters fed. We found, however, that some very sweet people are still voting without an incentive. Thank you! As such, we decided to put it back up where people could find it.
1 January 2007 - Rawr, New Year! Page 14 is out.
19 December 2006 - New picture in the gallery of an adult Irianta...sort of.
15 December 2006 - A bit of concept art of Vii has been posted in the forums, for those who are interested in such things.

26 October 2006 - Project Dragonfly begins.
21 October 2006 - New voting incentive is the color version of an old incentive (probably our favorite yet).
19 October 2006 - A page of Jungle Fire wallpapers has been added to the site.
15 October 2006 - Jungle Fire is now officially back from the long summer-plus-a-few-months hiatus. The art style has yet-again changed. We've returned to the use of inks, but the coloring is more involved than what was in the prologue. This change was done to allow for a faster update rate.
13 October 2006 - The new schedule for Jungle Fire pages will be a page on the 1st and 15th of every month and a new voting incentive on the 8th and 22nd. In other words, each week there will be something new, either a page or a piece of artwork up at TopWebComics.
1 September 2006 - A bonus page has been posted. It shows a scene from Foxeye's long-distance past.
